I’m Streaming The Writing Process for my Articles

I haven’t made a video in a while because I’ve been writing so much. Then, I thought why not kill two birds with one stone?
My first stream can be found here. I’ll start streaming on March 23, 2022 at 7:00 PM (CDT). If you missed it, don’t worry, I’ll keep the streams up on my channel and I’ll have future streams every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday at 7:00 PM (CDT).
What the Stream Will Be
The stream will have two main goals: showing the future of what I’m doing for my two active series on Medium and to answer questions about Science, Math, or CS. If no one shows up or no one asks questions, I’ll focus on explaining the writing process. If a bunch of people show up and start asking questions, I’ll focus on answering questions. Why I’m Streaming
I’ve had the idea to start streaming the article writing process for some time, but I haven’t pursued it. Then, I started getting a major uptick in subscribers to my YouTube channel. I’m using my channel mainly to store clips for my series on Quantum Mechanics, so my channel is a little bare. I wanted to make something for my subscribers, but I also want to continue writing articles. So why not make a video about writing articles?
Focus Groups
In an ideal world, I would have several people look over my articles. These people would fall into two rough groups: experts and novices. Experts can help to make sure the content is free of mistakes while novices would help me to understand what part of the explanation I need to focus on. Unfortunately, everyone on the internet seems to be an expert on everything, but at least I can have them look for errors.
More Dynamic Interactions
Right now, the main interaction between me and my followers comes through comments on YouTube or responses on Medium. Both of these have delayed responses that can hinder communication. To make matters worse, I can’t use images to answer questions, which can make things even more difficult…
